Terms & Conditions

Clear expectations for building and supporting a thoughtful church website together.

Effective date: August 24, 2026

1. About these terms

These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the Parish Presence website and any website design, development, content, or related services we provide. By requesting or using our services, you agree to these terms.

Parish Presence is an independent web design service for churches and ministry teams. We may update these terms from time to time, with the latest version published on this page.

2. Our services

The scope, deliverables, timeline, and price for each project will be agreed with you before work begins. Services may include strategy, copy support, design, development, hosting setup, and post-launch support.

Any work outside the agreed scope may require a separate quote or an adjustment to the delivery date. We will discuss material changes with you before carrying them out.

3. Your responsibilities

You agree to provide accurate information, timely feedback, approvals, and the content or access needed to complete your project. You are responsible for ensuring that materials you provide, including images, logos, and written content, are yours to use or properly licensed.

Delays in supplying content, feedback, or approvals may affect the agreed project timeline.

4. Payment and cancellation

Payment terms will be set out in your project proposal or invoice. Invoices are due by the date shown on the invoice. Work may be paused if an invoice becomes overdue.

All website packages include an ongoing cost of £19.99 for hosting, email accounts, and support questions.

If you cancel a project after work has started, you remain responsible for payment for work completed and approved project expenses incurred up to the cancellation date.

5. Ownership and permissions

Once all project invoices have been paid, you may use the final website deliverables for your church or ministry. We retain ownership of reusable methods, know-how, code libraries, and tools used to create the project.

You give us permission to display completed work in our portfolio unless we agree otherwise in writing. Third-party fonts, software, images, and services remain subject to their own licenses and terms.

6. Website hosting and third-party services

Websites may rely on third-party providers such as hosting, domain registrars, analytics platforms, form providers, or payment services. Those providers are responsible for their own availability, policies, and charges.

We will make reasonable efforts to help resolve issues within the agreed service scope, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted operation of third-party services.

7. Warranties and liability

We will provide services with reasonable care and skill. We do not guarantee that a website will always be error-free, secure from every possible threat, or compatible with every future browser, device, or third-party service.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Parish Presence will not be liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of revenue, loss of data, or business interruption arising from the use of our services.

8. Contact

Questions about these terms or your project can be sent to info@parishpresence.co.uk. We will do our best to respond promptly and resolve concerns directly.
